Caleigh Barnett's Journey to the Crown: Competing for Miss Virginia America's Teen

This week, Caleigh Barnett proudly represents Southwest Virginia as Miss Lonesome Pine’s Teen as she competes for the title of Miss Virginia America’s Teen. A rising senior, Caleigh has spent her year balancing pageantry, music, modeling, and service while using her title to make a meaningful impact. Through every opportunity she is given, she strives to show that passion and purpose can work hand in hand, using her platform to encourage others to step outside their comfort zones and pursue their dreams with confidence.
At the heart of Caleigh’s journey is The Rhythm & Relief Project, the community service initiative she founded to combine her love of music with her commitment to helping others. Through benefit concerts and performances across the country, she has raised more than $10,000 for causes supporting food insecurity, veterans, and families in need. Her work has taken her from Virginia to California, New York, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, and beyond, using music as a way to bring people together and create lasting impact. Most recently, she presented a $4,500 donation to support Giving Hope Southwest Virginia Food Bank through Zion Family Ministries, continuing her mission of turning talent into service.
In addition to her philanthropic work, Caleigh is an accomplished singer, musician, model, and media personality. She has shared the stage with artists including The Charlie Daniels Band, Chris Young, and Ralph Stanley II, performing at festivals, concerts, and special events throughout the United States. Her modeling career has led to opportunities with MMG Models, New York Fashion Week, Miami-based fashion events, national runway productions, magazine features, billboards, and media appearances. From performing on stages across the country to walking runways in major fashion markets, Caleigh embraces every opportunity to grow, connect with others, and represent Southwest Virginia on a national level. As she takes the stage at Miss Virginia America’s Teen this week, she is excited to share the passions, experiences, and purpose that continue to shape her journey.
