For Ella Kedilerli, the journey to becoming Miss Los Angeles Teen USA has never been about seeking the spotlight but instead about using every opportunity to make someone else's life a little brighter. At just 18 years old, Ella has already built an impressive résumé as a published author, alopecia advocate, model, nine-time All-Star Cheer National Champion, founder of Teens Pursuit of Excellence, and Young Ambassador of Goodwill recognized by the California State Legislature. As she prepares to compete for the title of Miss California Teen USA, Ella is proving that true leadership is rooted in compassion, resilience, and a commitment to lifting others along the way.
Currently pursuing a degree in nursing, Ella dreams of one day becoming a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse, inspired by her own story of being born prematurely. She hopes to provide comfort and care to newborns and their families during some of life's most vulnerable moments. But her passion for helping others extends far beyond healthcare. Diagnosed with alopecia areata at just ten years old, Ella experienced firsthand the challenges of learning to embrace her own uniqueness. Rather than allowing that diagnosis to define her, she transformed it into a mission to empower others. Today, she continues advocating for children and young people to see beauty in the qualities that make them different while encouraging confidence through her organization, Teens Pursuit of Excellence.
One of Ella's proudest accomplishments has been publishing her children's book, Presley the Peacock's Adventure to Find Her Feathers. Inspired by her own journey with alopecia, the story encourages children to embrace what makes them unique and recognize that their differences are something to celebrate and not hide.
"Writing the book taught me that being vulnerable can create opportunities to make a meaningful impact," Ella shares. "Seeing children connect with my story reminds me that sharing our own experiences can help others feel seen, understood, and empowered." For Ella, storytelling has become another way to serve others... one page at a time.
Despite balancing college, volunteer work, pageantry, entrepreneurship, writing, content creation, and leadership responsibilities, Ella has learned that success begins with intentional planning and prioritizing what truly matters. "Everything starts with structure," she explains. "I rely on planning ahead, staying organized, and creating routines that allow me to grow without burning out." Equally important, she believes self care is not a reward earned after working hard but an essential part of maintaining the energy needed to continue serving others. Whether spending time with family, volunteering, getting enough rest, or simply taking a break when needed, Ella understands that balance is one of the keys to long term success.
As someone passionate about pageantry, Ella hopes to challenge one of the biggest misconceptions surrounding the industry. "Many people think winning a pageant is simply about achieving a personal goal," she says. "But the title is so much more than that." She believes a crown is ultimately a tool that allows young women to represent their communities, advocate for important causes, and inspire meaningful change. Rather than viewing pageants as individual victories, Ella sees every titleholder's success as a collective win that benefits the communities they serve.
Looking ahead, Ella's ambitions continue to grow. Alongside her dream of becoming a NICU nurse, she hopes to publish additional children's books, expand Teens Pursuit of Excellence into a nationwide organization, build a successful business, and continue using social media to encourage others to pursue their own dreams with confidence and purpose. "Miss California Teen USA has helped me become more intentional with my goals," she says. "It's strengthened my confidence, communication skills, and reminded me that success comes from consistently showing up with passion and purpose." Community service remains one of the cornerstones of Ella's life. One organization especially close to her heart is Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles (OBKLA), where she volunteers preparing and packaging meals for individuals experiencing food insecurity. One experience that particularly touched her was learning that every volunteer receives cookies to personally hand out to someone who may simply need a moment of kindness during their day. "It reminded me that even the smallest acts of service can make a meaningful difference," Ella reflects. "When kindness, collaboration, and leadership come together, they have the power to change lives."

As the daughter of two immigrant parents and a proud first-generation Filipina-Armenian American, Ella credits her family with teaching her the values of perseverance, gratitude, and hard work. She believes that with determination, passion, and a willingness to serve others, anyone can achieve their dreams regardless of where they begin. When she's not studying, volunteering, writing, or advocating for others, Ella enjoys baking for the people she loves, discovering new matcha cafés, and spending time with her beloved senior dog, Charlie.
As Miss Los Angeles Teen USA, Ella Kedilerli embodies what it truly means to lead with heart. Through her advocacy for alopecia awareness, dedication to healthcare, commitment to community service, and passion for inspiring young people, she continues to show that you can make a difference by sharing your story with others.
As she prepares to compete for the title of Miss California Teen USA, one thing is already clear: Ella isn't simply chasing a crown—she's building a legacy of compassion, resilience, and service that will continue inspiring others for years to come. Teen Vibes Magazine is proud to feature Ella's remarkable journey and looks forward to watching the incredible impact she will continue making both in California and beyond.
