At just 17 years old, Presley Gonor, Miss San Diego Teen USA, is proving that one courageous decision can completely change the course of a person's life. As she prepares to compete for the title of Miss California Teen USA, Presley is bringing much more than poise and confidence to the stage...she's bringing a mission.
A student, content creator, speaker, and founder of Your Life, Your Vision, Presley created her platform after making the bold decision to pursue online schooling and trust a path that looked different from the one many expected her to take. That leap of faith inspired her to encourage other young people to stop living according to society's expectations and start building lives they truly love. Through motivational content, public speaking, and authentic storytelling, Presley reminds teens that success begins with believing in yourself long before anyone else does.
"I believe the biggest thing standing between you and the life you want is having the courage to trust yourself," Presley shares. "Our generation is desperate for leaders who help others see what's possible for their lives."
For Presley, competing in Miss California Teen USA is about far more than earning a crown... it's about expanding the reach of that message. She sees the pageant as an opportunity to serve others, lead with purpose, and inspire young people to believe they are capable of more than they ever imagined. Her platform, Your Life, Your Vision, encourages teens to develop a clear vision for their future rather than allowing comparison, fear, or social media to dictate their choices.
One issue Presley is especially passionate about is helping teens overcome the lack of direction many experience today. In a world where comparison is only a swipe away, she believes it's easy to lose sight of your own dreams while chasing someone else's. "When you have a vision for your life," Presley explains, "your decisions become more intentional, and you stop living for other people's approval."
If crowned Miss California Teen USA, Presley plans to use her year of service to inspire confidence through school visits, community events, social media, and the launch of her Vision & Victory Conference for young women. Her goal is to create environments where teens feel seen, encouraged, and empowered to pursue their dreams with confidence.
Despite spending time online as a creator, Presley remains grounded in authenticity. She views social media as a powerful tool and not an identity. Something that intentionally shares the lessons, growth, and experiences that genuinely reflect who she is. Whether documenting her pageant journey or encouraging others through her platform, she hopes people always see the real Presley.
Looking toward the future, Presley dreams of becoming a nationally recognized speaker, entrepreneur, and personal development leader whose message reaches millions of young people around the world. She hopes to grow Your Life, Your Vision into a movement that includes speaking engagements, conferences, and digital content designed to help the next generation discover purpose and pursue it with courage.
