At just 14 years old, Reina Lee is already proving that leadership has no age limit. As the reigning Miss Irvine Teen USA and a contestant for Miss California Teen USA 2026, Reina has built an impressive resume that combines athletic excellence, artistic talent, and a heart for service. Whether she's representing Team USA on the international stage, competing in pageantry, or encouraging others through her words and actions, Reina is driven by one mission...to inspire confidence, kindness, and resilience in young people everywhere. Her journey is already one of remarkable achievement. Currently competing as a Team USA Solo Ice Dancer, Reina previously represented the United States in Theater on Ice, competing internationally in France at just 12 years old. While those accomplishments are extraordinary, Reina believes her greatest success isn't measured by medals or titles, but by the positive impact she leaves on others.

When asked what issue affecting teens she would bring awareness to if given a larger platform, Reina's answer wasn't about trends or technology. It was about empathy. "We live in a world where people are quick to judge but slow to understand," she explains. "Everyone has a story we may know nothing about, and I believe leading with compassion can make people feel seen, heard, and valued." It's a perspective that reflects wisdom well beyond her years. In a generation often connected through screens, Reina believes genuine human connection begins with choosing kindness, listening without judgment, and remembering that every person carries experiences others may never fully understand. For her, empathy isn't simply an idea...it's a daily practice.

Balancing academics, elite athletics, pageantry, and personal growth might seem overwhelming, but Reina has learned that success isn't about staying busy every minute of the day. "I remind myself that being busy doesn't always mean being productive," she says. She works hard and stays committed to her responsibilities while making self-care a priority. "I make time for the things that keep me happy and help me relax because I can't give my best to others if I'm not being the best to myself." It's a lesson many teens and adults could benefit from embracing. Rather than glorifying constant hustle, Reina believes balance creates the strongest foundation for lasting success.

Like many teenagers today, Reina understands both the opportunities and the challenges that social media presents. While platforms can create meaningful connections, they can also encourage unhealthy comparisons.

"I stay authentic and true to who I am by remembering that my value comes from who I am and not how I'm perceived online." Instead of measuring success through likes and followers, Reina stays grounded by focusing on her goals, her family, and the people who know her beyond the screen. That perspective allows her to use social media as a positive tool while staying connected to what truly matters.

As someone competing for the title of Miss California Teen USA, Reina hopes to challenge one of pageantry's biggest misconceptions. "Many people believe pageantry is only about beauty or that you need a lot of money to be successful." In reality, she says, appearance is only one small part of the experience. "What pageantry is really about is being confident, being dedicated to leadership and service, and having the ability to use your voice to change the world." Rather than simply talking about those values, Reina hopes to demonstrate them through action. Through community service, advocacy, and leadership, she wants others to see that the true measure of success isn't found in appearance or expensive wardrobes...it's found in the lives you impact and the person you become along the way.

When asked what makes her feel the most confident, Reina's answer once again reflects the heart behind everything she does. "What makes me feel the most confident is knowing that I am making a difference, no matter how big or small." For Reina, confidence isn't about being the loudest person in the room or seeking attention. Instead, she believes confidence grows from staying true to your values, giving your best effort, and using your voice to encourage others. "When I know I've given it my all, stayed true to my values, and inspired those around me, that's when I feel my most confident." It's a philosophy that has guided her through competitive athletics, international competition, pageantry, and everyday life.

Whether she's gliding across the ice representing Team USA, wearing the Miss Irvine Teen USA crown, or preparing for the Miss California Teen USA stage, Reina Lee continues to demonstrate that true leadership begins with character. Her passion for empathy, her commitment to authenticity, and her desire to inspire others make her much more than a competitor, they make her a role model for young people looking to pursue their dreams with confidence and compassion. As she prepares to compete for the title of Miss California Teen USA 2026, Reina carries with her more than talent and determination. She carries a message the world could use a little more of: lead with kindness, stay true to yourself, and never underestimate the power of making someone feel seen. With grace on the ice, confidence on stage, and compassion in her heart, Reina Lee is already leaving a lasting impact just one inspiring step at a time.
